We are pleased to let you know that a new round of the Community Road Safety Grants Program is now open.
The Community Road Safety Grants Program supports community groups across NSW to deliver small-scale, local projects that raise road safety awareness and encourage safer behaviour on our roads.
The program has five key focus areas:
- creating safer country roads and urban places
- enhancing road safety in local communities
- improving the safety of light vehicles, heavy vehicles and protective equipment
- encouraging safer choices on our roads
- improving the safety of vulnerable and other at-risk road users.
There are two grant categories. Funding of up to $5,000 is available for local community projects targeting specific groups or locations, while a limited number of grants of up to $30,000 are available for larger projects with broader community reach.
Projects can include education campaigns, community programs promoting road safety, funding complementary bus services, surveys, and much more.
Applications close at 4.00pm on 28 September.
As always, please carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying.
