We are pleased to let you know that applications for the 2026 Local Sport Grant Program are now open!

This is the NSW Government’s largest annual round of sports-related grants. In 2025, 12 sporting organisations in Pittwater received more than $50,000 in funding.

Funding is available to eligible sporting organisations for new equipment, small facility upgrades, the delivery of new programs and more. This year, grants range from $2,000 to $20,000 and will predominantly support projects that aim to:

• Increase regular participation and support ongoing retention in sport by providing quality experience to their members 
• Reduce barriers and improve access to participation in sport
• Provide safe and inclusive opportunities for under‑represented groups, including females, multicultural people, people with disability, First Nations people and the LGBTQIA+ community to participate in sport
• Improve the financial sustainability and governance capability of community level sporting clubs
• Improve the quality, adaptability and environmental sustainability of sporting facilities in NSW
