We are excited to announce that applications for the NSW Government’s 2026 Environmental Education Grants Program are now open!

The program supports local community groups and Landcare organisations, funding projects that build skills and encourage changes in behaviour and practices to improve the environment.

There are two funding tiers:

• $0–$60,000

• $60,001–$250,000

The program has three strategic priorities:

• Prioritise healthy Country and recognise and value Aboriginal peoples, their traditional knowledge and practices, and connection to Country.

• Restore ecosystems and biodiversity.

• Strengthen environmental management.

This is a valuable opportunity for Pittwater’s environmental groups to secure much-needed funding. If you have been considering an environmental project or initiative, this could be a great opportunity to bring it to life.

Applications close 9 November.

As always, please read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying. Good luck!
