We are excited to announce that the latest round of the Surf Club Facility Program is now open! This is a strong opportunity to obtain funding to upgrade, rebuild or future-proof your club’s facilities.

This year, the program provides funding for projects from concept to completion, with varying grant amounts under three categories:

• Category 1: grants between $15,000 and $100,000 for upgrade projects that have a single fixed-price quote that is fully inclusive of all costs
• Category 2: grants of up to $100,000 for facility design and planning projects
• Category 3: grants of up to $1,000,000 for construction projects

This year’s funding round has a focus on climate resilience, helping clubs withstand extreme weather and severe storm events, as well as boosting participation so more people from all backgrounds can get involved in surf lifesaving.

Applications for Category 1 close at 1pm on Monday 17 August 2026. Applications for Categories 2 and 3 close at 1pm on Monday 31 August 2026.
