PITTWATER COMMUNITY SPORT SCORES VITAL FUNDS

Jacqui Scruby MP is pleased to advise that 12 sporting organisations in Pittwater have shared in a statewide pool of $4.49 million following the awarding of grants in the NSW Government’s Local Sport Grant Program.

“Sporting clubs form a much loved and really important part of the Pittwater community, providing both fitness and social benefits and bringing our community together.

“These clubs are often powered by the passion and dedication of parents and volunteers, but they are also feeling the pressure of rising costs and tight budgets. This funding will make a real difference on the ground, helping local clubs upgrade equipment, support participation, and keep sport accessible for families across Pittwater.”

“I congratulate the local sports organisations that were successful in securing funding.”

The Local Sports Grant Program provides grants for minor facility upgrades, new equipment and programs that support and encourage participation in sport and active recreation in NSW. Grants up to $20,000 were available, with up to $50,000 in Pittwater.
