Northern Beaches Advocate: A breast screening facility for the Northern Beaches has been made permanent at Mona Vale.
Pittwater MP Jacqui Scruby, who was on hand this week (Monday, 25 August) to cut the ribbon on the new permanent breast screening service at Mona Vale, said the facility would better serve the needs of Pittwater residents.
“Having breast screening services close to home can make the difference between someone having a breast screen and not having one, and that simple fact can make all the difference.
“We know that screening saves lives, so permanent breast screening services are a welcome expansion to our Mona Vale Health Precinct,” said Ms Scruby.
The new breast screening clinic is based at the Community Health Centre, which is accessible via Gate 3 at Mona Vale Hospital, Coronation Street, Mona Vale.
